Wacko Jacko!

An attempt to take Jacko's three children into care has been turned down.

A lawyer, Gloria Allred, had attempted to do this independently because Allred said that Jackson should lose custody of the children because of his past behavior and the child molestation charges against him. She does not represent the children.

Jackson's admission that he sometimes shares his bedroom with children, and a November 2002 incident in which he dangled his baby from a balcony. In January, after Jackson moved from Santa Barbara County to Beverly Hills, she asked the Los Angeles County Department of Child and Family Services to investigate. Allred said the department notified her that they would not remove the children from Jackson's custody. Allred said she filed an application on Wednesday asking that the presiding judge of Los Angeles County Juvenile Court begin proceedings to take the children from Jackson and place their care under the court's jurisdiction.

Jackson and his second wife, Deborah Rowe, agreed last month to hire a retired judge to handle an unspecified "family law matter" that was believed to concern custody and visitation arrangements for the couple's two children -- a boy, seven, and a girl, who is five or six, who reportedly live with Jackson. Jackson has a third child, Prince Michael II, who is believed to be about 10 months old.

J-lo tries to steal Affleck  star light

J-Lo tries to steal Affleck limelight

Jennifer Lopez almost stole the show on Ben Affleck's big night at the premiere of his new movie Jersey Girl.

Affleck took his mother, Chris, as his date to the first showing of the film, which features a brief appearance by his ex. J Lo plays his wife and the mother of their daughter. But the film's director could not help pushing J-Lo's no show. "You mean Jennifer's not here?" he told reporters. "What? Why not?"

Later in the evening he continued with the running joke, telling the audience "we're just waiting for J Lo to show up."

The director insists that the film is great and says the failed romance is unlikely to hurt the movie. "It's not really about their relationship; it's about Ben and the little kid. So if he and the little kid broke up, I'd have problems."
